Saren’s Fortnightly AMA
With the launch of version 2 around the corner, we are trying to make sure to keep our community up to date and give them a chance to ask any questions before the launch.
Here are the questions from this week’s AMA.
How will the marketing plan of Orbit look?
We’ll be marketing the app with sponsored ads across various platforms such as Google ads, Facebook ads, Twitter promotions, etc. We will also be partnering with influencers to get Saren the required exposure. This will help us get users on our platform which we can then utilise to create more revenue streams.
What will be the timetable for Orbit launch?
We will have all the details next week.
Do you plan to implement tags as search feature?
Yes, people will be able to filter out coins based on categories much like Coinmarketcap in the new version of our webapp.
Can a user help in localization of platform in other languages?
A lot of big apps are only available in English for example Zerion. We would like to avoid adding this as a feature at the moment until we have more users.
What will be your future plans for Orbit?
Our plan is to get as many users on our platform as possible and try to generate ad revenue and Orbit subscriptions through our platform. This would be our first goal. After this we will be using DAO proposals to look for future features and opportunities.
Will there be an additional airdrop for the snapshot?
We feel SAR valued at 0.05 after orbit launch is a fair reward for the issues caused by the Uniswap bug. The price at the time of the bug was 0.015 so it is fair for them to be rewarded this way. Currently we believe having 30% of the airdrop tokens unlocked will be a fair opportunity for people to sell.
Are their plans for an IOS app?
We currently do not have any plans to develop an iOS app but our web app will be a progressive application and depending on our user needs we can easily transition the platform into an iOS application.
How long will be the locking period?
Locking period will be in line with the IDO lock period if there is any. Additional lock details will be finalised next week.
What is your personal plan for Orbit (Jay)?
I have only sold 500k SAR so far from team wallet to pay off contractors and tax auditors before the investment. I do not plan to do much with the personal tokens and do not need the funds either. My plan is to do right by the SAR investors with Orbit and get user adoption.
What is the latest information regarding Curtis Bear NFT?
Their project failed and they currently don’t have the funds to do the airdrop.
